KaPEACEtahan is the flagship activity of OPAPRU during National Peace Consciousness Month to highlight the key milestones and impact of OPAPRU and the Government in transforming conflict-affected communities into show windows of peace and development. The achievements shall be showcased through enterprise exhibitions of OPAPRU-supported communities together with peace partners, LGUs, NGAs, and Private Sector partners. The National Coordinating Body of Clubs for UNESCO in the Philippines will support the KaPEACtahan for 2023 encouraging all accredited Clubs for UNESCO to participate. Attend the International Assembly of Youth for UNESCO (Y4U) on December 9-11, 2023 at Manila Grand Opera Hotel to hear their “Peace Journey” during the Breakout Session through the KaPEACEtahan.
Various activities, awards, and competitions are lined-up to strengthen the UNESCO Clubs' intrinsic mandate of being grassroots changemakers and empowering them to carry on the challenge of localizing efforts anchored on regional, national and international declarations.
